Hosa Jeevana Daari centre is 7 Kms away from Melkote. Situated in a serene atmosphere on the Melkote - Chinakuruli road with 25 acres of land . The centre is a place to experiment and experience non-violent living alternatives. Many programmes are conducted for farmers, rural youth, national and international students on many subjects related with non-violent living alternatives and sustainable development. The 25 acres of land of Hosa Jeevana Daari is completely cultivated using organic farming principles. It is also involved in promoting the idea of organic farming and low-input sustainable agriculture. The farm is also a demonstration farm in organic farming. The Janapada Seva Trust is working with the villagers near Hosa Jeevana Daari center and trying to involve people in village development and natural resource management. |
